OpenArc School of Business & Technology (OSBT), an education arm of the OpenArc group worked hand in hand with DEMP (Distance Education Modernization project) as a partner to national endeavour and they were selected to design, develop and launch e-Learning education programme for Diploma in Software Development.

OSBT and DEMP recently launched its very first diploma programme for professional software development on the Internet and this is now available for any interested student through the web access www.openarc.nodes.lk. OSBT has been one of the leading private sector institutions that fulfills the DEMP requirements and quality standards.It has helped us to be qualified in launching OpenArc e-Diploma course.

OSBT can be considered as the pioners of software industry. The Organization has done a revelution in the IT industry of Sri Lanka. The OpenArc with DEMP launched its newest IT diploma on the internet at the ceremony held at The Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo 07 on 5th of December 2008. Since its inception year of 1991, it has been perpetually struggling to develop our own software to fulfill national requirements. Through the process, they have saved the national wealth in millions.
